Compass Life Sciences – 6 month review

Compass Life Sciences proudly launched our re-branded look and feel more than six months ago now, and after a frantic, exhilarating and successful half-year, the impending Christmas break offers a time of reflection on the journey to date.

First and foremost, the team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our valued clients who have invested their trust in our services during what has been a highly unusual year; and the candidates who have either approached us, or agreed to be represented by us, at a time when searching for a new role in such a turbulent climate could be perceived as a risk. Thank you all.

In July we launched our website, and with it, finishing the last stages of the re-brand which had been designed, implemented, and launched during the first national Lockdown. It has been immensely gratifying to hear such positive feedback from both candidates – who have reiterated our knowledge of the industry’s they represent, and their individual roles within it, as a stand-out feature of our offering compared to what they have previously experienced – something we pride ourselves on.

Clients have also fed-back how consultative our services are, combined with an innate ability to succeed when others have failed, as a distinguishing characteristic – serving to not only reinforce the relationships with them, but also has seen a drastic increase in work mandated exclusively to the team. The confidence that we can satisfy their hiring needs is immensely humbling.

Notable highlights in recent months include a number of volume accounts which have utilised our services to hire full teams – across Biotech R&D, and CRO Clinical Research specifically. There has also been an influx of senior mandates across Europe, Middle East and the US, where niche skillsets for highly sought-after individuals were mandated to the team. In order to keep up with this marked increase in demands, the team have expanded significantly since the turn of 2020, more than doubling in size – and we are excited to be welcoming a number of new starters in early 2021 too. These hires will continue to strength our dedicated offering to the six specialisms we focus on: R&D; Data & Bioinformatics; Clinical Research; Medical Affairs; Regulatory Affairs; and Commercial Operations – across the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Supplier & Vendor industries.

As focus turns to the New Year, Compass Life Sciences are intent on continuing on providing a first-class service to both clients and candidates alike; this will be achieved through the continuous learning about the sectors and industry’s we serve; supporting those in every way possible to achieve their career aspirations and offering consultative, insightful and erudite partnerships to organisations who engage in our services.
