Geoff is a Non-Executive Advisor to the Board, bringing more than 35 years’ life sciences experience including over a decade in executive search and leadership assessment.
Geoff has placed Board Chairs and Non-Executive Directors, CEOs, CFOs, scientific and corporate C-suite and global leaders into life sciences companies covering pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, genomics, digital health and life science research organisations on global mandates.
Geoff is Managing Partner of Newgrange Consultants, a leadership assessment and development business. His leadership assessment and consulting work covers assessments for C-suite leaders for appointments and for professional development, team assessments and board appraisals, and work with leadership teams to address leadership impact, organisation development and employee engagement.
Geoff also has over a decade of experience in-house in senior leadership roles in the life sciences sector. He has been Country General Manager based in Philadelphia, PA and Senior Vice-President, HR based in London for BTG plc. He has also worked in the Wellcome Trust during planning for the creations of The Francis Crick Institute, and earlier in his career he held HR roles with pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology companies in the UK and USA.
Geoff is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. He has an Honours Degree from the University of Leeds, a Masters in Organisation Consulting from Ashridge College and further post-graduate qualifications in HR Management. He is a certified psychometric assessor and a qualified coach. Geoff’s PhD research focused on leadership assessment and development, and has been a Guest Lecturer at Loughborough University School and Business and Economics for MBA and HRM programmes, an Associate Lecturer at Northampton Business School for the MSC Leadership Programme and various undergraduate programmes, and a Guest Lecturer for the University of Northampton School of Health.
